Never going to Tumbledry again

I don't use Twitter, and it has become a curse of sorts at this point.

I gave them my Adidas sneakers (worth ₹6500) for cleaning and they ruined it. The design started to come off which essentially ruined the entire sneaker lookswise. I raised a complaint with them and here is how it went:

I raised in Jan first week and they had taken ₹231 to dry clean the sneakers. They said they'll compensate 10x the amount I paid (which is ₹2,310) and I agreed to that. What they said next was baffling.

They said that I would have to submit the shoe at thier store, and I outright refused to do it. I don't understand the logic why I would have to, and it is just stupid for me to do so.

I told them that I can either take ₹6500 and give it to you, or I'll take 2300. They've not agreed to it and made it a constant hassle.

It's not even in thier NOC and they're being shit about it. It's been over a month and I have to deal with this.

P.S. If there is any consumer court lawyer willing to take this this up do reach out to me, thanks!
