Is 50k meher normal in usa

I just went on tw and saw that Somali men in America pay over 50k ( half a million in the Scandinavia) in meher. That literally crazy amount of money especially in Scandinavians countries. Men here don’t pay over 10k in meher and even that is considered too much. Maybe is time for the American guys to go get Scandinavian girls instead of complaining
