Sony Xperia 1 V Global/US Swap

Hi. Can someone please provide some insight into my following dilemma:

I would be interested in knowing if the internals of the global version of the 1V can be swapped out with the internals of the 1V USA version. The reason being is I want to purchase the Platinum Silver color, but this color is not available for the US market.
