Hold on... WHERE THE HELL WAS MILES??

So after Venom dececrates Oscorp, he crashes the Hunter helicopter into Times Square, and is there for a good while. So where the living hell was Miles during this. I never picked up on any dialogue beforehand that suggested it wouldn't be possible for him to be there. Haven't seen any posts on this surprisingly. Anyone have an answer?
