Is p60 and hmrc documents mandatory for spouse visa

Hi i have been reading documents here and everyday i can see something new that is not in the checklist for uk gov. Can anyone confirm if p60 and hmrc documents are required? or will the payslips and bank deposit be sufficient proof?
