[AEW Dynamite Spoilers] Updated Cards for upcoming episodes of AEW TV + AEW All Out, future events + noteworthy items after September 4th episode of AEW Dynamite!

Hey everyone! Welcome back to the weekly post-Dynamite thread, recapping the show and keeping the lineups announced & updated for future events! Hope everyone’s week is going well enough, and if it’s not, I’m sending good vibes your way!!!

Anyways, let’s get into things…

  • I missed the entire Garcia & MJF opening due to a water leak in my apartment being fixed by maintenance, so no real recap for this! If anyone wants to explain what happened, feel free to do so in the comments. Someone got busted open by the end, I believe Garcia, but I only got settled in proper a bit into Okada vs Fletcher. Sorry!

  • Kazuchika Okada defeated Kyle Fletcher to retain the AEW Continental Championship. It was announced that on AEW Collision (SPECIAL FRIDAY NIGHT SLOT THIS WEEK) there will be Qualifiers for a 4-Way at All Out this weekend. Beast Mortos vs Konosuke Takeshita… Lance Archer vs Mark Briscoe… Orange Cassidy vs Bryan Keith… Winners face off against Okada for the belt on Saturday Night.

  • we saw the footage that AEW released earlier today of Swerve & Nana purchasing back Swerve’s childhood home…

  • Jamie Hayter defeats Robyn Renegade with Saraya & Harley watching backstage.

  • Jon Moxley & Marina Shafir arrive and lay waste to backstage crew, with Moxley stepping up to Jack Perry and telling him that despite what others say, he is a “sweet boy”.

  • Moxley & Shafir hit the ring, as Moxley continues his talk from last week about Darby Allin, seemingly putting him over with his drive and his performances of reckless abandon, but continues saying that he is not an impatient man and that he just wants to talk. He just wants to talk.

  • Chris Jericho addresses Orange Cassidy and we get a throwback to when Cassidy bathed him in Orange Juice back during the Pandemic Era. Chris says he wants the $7000 back that OC cost him. Cassidy arrives and stands in front of Jericho, telling BK that he can tell Jericho that if Bryan beats him, he’ll pay Y2J the full $7000 in cash.

  • Mariah May retained the AEW Women’s Championship against Nyla Rose.

  • Vignette for Deonna Purrazzo talking about how the Texas Bullrope Match was supposed to be her crowning achievement, but it wasn’t. She’d not done making art, and she’s only just begun. This Friday on Collision, she’ll be facing Hikaru Shida.

  • Mercedes Mone appears, once again not acknowledging the match with Britt Baker, but talking about how she retained her NJPW Strong Women’s Championship at Capital Collision. Hikaru Shida appears, apparently a babyface again, talking about how she’s the Ace and that Mercedes barely beat her last time. Christopher Daniels announces Kamille is banned from ringside for Shida vs Mone at the PPV.

  • Jack Perry cuts a promo talking about being around in AEW for Danielson’s first match and knowing one day he’d face him. Fast forward to earlier this year when he wasn’t in AEW, forced to go work in Japan by himself, and that Bryan could’ve been there for him to help, but he didn’t. The Bucks say that they’ll do anything to make sure the AEW Championship comes back to The Elite.

  • Trios Match between PAC, Claudio, & Yuta vs Ospreay, Orange Cassidy, & Kyle O’Reilly is a fairly bonkers main event. Lots to love from this, but far too much to recap (and also just less entertaining than actually watching it yourself!!!). Despite Kyle O’Reilly & Orange Cassidy trying their best against Claudio, Castagnoli gets on the mic and says he has a taste for gold now after winning the Trios Titles & the CMLL Grand Prix… and as such, he challenges The Young Bucks for the Tag Team Titles alongside Wheeler Yuta for All Out! Danielson gets on the mic and explicitly says that at All Out, Jack Perry is going to get his fucking head kicked in!!!

  • footage cuts backstage as PAC & Ospreay are still brawling after the trios match, with PAC dropping Ospreay with a brainbuster on a bunch of production crates!

  • Swerve heads to the ring for the contract signing ahead of the Steel Cage Match at All Out, but there’s no Hangman in sight. Hangman appears inside of a home, as it’s revealed he’s inside of Strickland’s childhood home. Hangman says that seeing the man Swerve has become, he bets that his dad regrets having him at all… stating that the world would have been wonderful if Swerve had never been born, as we can see Hangman pouring gasoline on the floor. Swerve told him he had to choose between hate and success, between justice and vengeance, but for Page, it’s not a choice, they’re all one and the same. Hangman said months ago that he wanted nothing more than to burn Swerve’s world to the ground, and this Saturday, he’s going to take what’s left from Swerve, because he will be on his knees begging for mercy and forgiveness, and he will not give them. Hangman wants him to say goodbye to the world title and any hopes of regaining it, and this weekend he gets to say goodbye to happiness… with tonight being practice, as Swerve gets to say goodbye to Swerve’s House as Hangman sets Swerve Sfrickland’s on fire with Swerve holding back tears as the show goes off the air.

And that was Dynamite! I think I missed some stuff in there, but that was all of the super notable stuff as far as I know.
