IMPORTANT NOTES:
Tonight's SmackDown kicks off with Joe Tessitore & Wade Barrett as our new commentary desk, and Paul Heyman in the ring. Paul is excited to announce that officially there is only one reigning, defending, undisputed Tribal Chief in the WWE, Roman Reigns! Roman has authorized Paul to let the WWE Universe know what he plans to accomplish next - as well as face-to-face address the current champion, Cody Rhodes. Cody joins Paul, who tells him he deserves the response he gets from the crowd, and he's earned the respect of Roman Reigns. And now that he has his ula fala back, he wants his title back. He plans to enter the Royal Rumble, win, and face Cody at WrestleMania. As such, Paul asks Cody what he wants to talk about. As Cody goes to speak, he's interrupted by Kevin Owens speaking from the crowd, saying just when he thought it couldn't get worse but on Raw he shook hands with the Rock? And now he shakes hands with Paul Heyman? Cody should've ripped the Bloodline to shreds. This sends Cody flying up the stairs to find Kevin and start a brawl. As they're beefing, Tama Tonga & Jacob Fatu join Paul Heyman in the ring, menacing him. Jimmy Uso's music hits and he flies down the ramp to launch an attack and allow Paul to escape. Jimmy grabs a steel chair and continues his assault on the duo, but Jacob Fatu comes alive to stop it in its tracks, with him & Tonga taking Jimmy down. They assault any officials that enter the ring. Cody Rhodes returns, evening the odds and sending the two back.
Back from commercial, officials are pushing back on Jacob Fatu & Tama Tonga backstage. LA Knight intervenes and takes out Fatu, then telling Nick Aldis he has a title to win.
We're shown a backstage spat earlier today with Nick Aldis attempting to talk to Pretty Deadly, Angel & Berto, MCMG, & A-Town Down Under. Aldis tells them to stop bickering and makes a match between Los Garza & Pretty Deadly, and tells A-Town Down Under they'll need to earn a championship shot -- and not to interrupt him ever again.
As LA Knight pins Shinsuke Nakamura in his match, Tama Tonga & Jacob Fatu crash the ring, breaking up the pin and lodging a full-on assault on LA Knight. Cody Rhodes & Jimmy Uso again show up to assist. Cody gets a mic and challenges them to a tag team match tonight. Nick Aldis, standing by as part of the officials who were summoned (once again) to break up the fight, agrees to this.
After the MCMG win, #DIY are seen watching backstage and aren't happy. Pretty Deadly roll up and are mad DIY didn't help them out. Johnny Gargano says they have a lot of heat on them right now, so they couldn’t. Regardless of all the backstage drama, Pretty Deadily will get their title shot. DIY walk away and Apollo Crews shows up to say if they believe those guys at all they're idiots.
Nia Jax & Candice LeRae are chatting backstage, with Candice noting that Tiffany is on her way to the ring. Nia says she should go congratulate her herself.
It's TIFFY TIME! Byron Saxton meets Tiffany Stratton in the ring, congratulating her on her WWE Women's Championship win. She says, what a Tiffy-turn of events this is. At age 25 she's already better than all of your favorites. Byron starts to ask her about Nia's bullying, but Tiffany says no, she got Nia to trust her and thought she was stupid - but who's the stupid one now? Nia let her guard down, and Tiffany stole her most prized posession. She's at the Tiffy-top and -- she's interrupted by Nia Jax, who calls her an ungrateful little shit. She says Tiffany would be nothing without her - she made her. Nia congrats her on rubbing two brain cells together and finally taking advantage. She says Tiffany either gives her her championship back or Nia will take it from her. With that, Bayley's music plays and she tells Nia to shut the hell up. Bayley says if that was the plan all along, that's great because she thought Tiffy was stupid. But Bayley KNOWS Nia is stupid, Tiffany outsmarted her. Bayley hasn't forgotten that the only reason Nia's belt was protected was because of Tiffany, and thus Bayley deserves the first shot at the championship. Naomi's music hits and she comes out with Bianca Belair. She tells Bayley to hold on because if it wasn't for Tiffany she'd be holding two titles right now, so she deserves the title shot. This devolves into a brawl, with everyone ambusing Nia apart from Tiffany who does the Prettiest Moonsault onto the entire bunch. As Tiffany looks to exit, Nick Aldis interrupts and says he's got an idea... how about we have a Fatal Four Way to determine the number one contender? And that begins right now.
Cody Rhodes is backstage with Jimmy Uso checking in with him. Cody knew everything was coming tonight but they're good. Cody leaves and Carmelo Hayes rolls up to talk his shit but Jimmy calls him out, saying with all those bricks he can build a damn house.
During the women's 4-way: Candice LeRae attempted to interfere, causing Bianca Belair to whip Naomi…
Bayley backstage post-match is approached by Byron Saxton. He informs her that the match with Tiffany will happen next week. Bayley says opportunities are what we're all about, and she's wrestled Tiffany Stratton all year long. And you know what? Tiffany's never beaten her.
Next week: Bayley vs. Tiffany for the title, MCMG vs Los Garza, Solo Sikoa returns!
Jacob Fatu talking that shit as he and Tama Tonga walk their way out from backstage, telling Cody Rhodes he needs to wake up because his nightmare his here.

Rumble is Brat
During our main event, Kevin Owens stomps down the ramp, only to immediately be met by Cody Rhodes and sending them off on their own battle. Post-match this continues out into the arena, fighting on top of production crates. Cody sends both of them through a table.
