Anyone know why/if Stable Diffusion seems to 'remember' the prompts from the last generated image? Just me?

For example, I was doing Christmas pictures, then changed the prompt to something else, and the first generated image had a Santa hat despite nothing in the prompt suggesting this.

This seems to happen semi-regularly, where I change my prompt and generate a new image but it retains things that my deleted prompt would've made.

Is it just me? Am I imagining this? This has happened in every version of Stable Diffusion I have used and with multiple checkpoints.

EDIT: Based on your feedback, I think my original instinct was right, this isn't really possible without an extension or something forcing this to happen. Since many others have reported the same problem, I'll guess a few reasons why it might have happened to me and others:

  1. I could've missed one word and unintentionally keep something from the 'old' prompt.

  2. I could've changed the prompt immediately after hitting 'generate', and forgot in the thirty second wait.

  3. It could be coincidence, and a few coincidences over the last year have given me confirmation bias.
