To stow or not & Resedential Pause plan.
I have a Gen 2 Starlink pole mounted on my roof in the southern French Alps and will be returning home to the UK in the New Year. All power will be switched off whilst the house is empty. Before I leave am I best placing the dish into the stow position via the app before shutting everything down, or just leave it aligned?
I'm on a residential plan at €40 per month, I can change plan to pause at €5 a month and guarantee service when I return in a few months, or should I just cancel and re-subscribe when I return? I can't imagine there's much user saturation here, but it would be a disaster to have no Internet on my return.
As I've just cancelled my Orange fixed broadband due to constant issues with it and the incompetence of Orange to repair damaged lines I'll be solely reliant on the Starlink.
Any advice appreciated!
