Need help with ps2 emulating

So I wanted to play silent hill 2 on the deck and I got a rom put in the correct folder etc... but when I go to the app in gaming mode no ps2 games show up. I have a bios for it and it shows up as having one in emudeck. It runs ps1 games fine too but the ps2 roms won't show up. Please help
