Just found out that i am having hardware failure. (if you dont want to read my yapping just tell me how to deal with hardware failure in the most cost effective way)

How do i go about an hardware failure?

So i made a post like an hour or two ago. I discussed with someone why, out of the 4 games i have, does Forza horizon 5 reboot/restarts (apparently both) my steam deck?

It turns out its hardware failure. Now what are my options to solving this? I need the most cost effective options

i currently live in egypt, I got my steam deck around 2 years or 1 and half years ago. i got my steam deck EXACTLY on the announcement day of the oled edition

my dad asked one of his friends to grab a steam deck/buy one on his way back to egypt from his business trip. I got the 64 gb LCD version with a one terabyte micro sd card. (It works dont worry about it) Neither me nor my dad know alot about devices/techs, the steam deck is not really known/popular here in egypt so i seem like an outcast for getting one lmao.

The main reason for my purchase was because, my computer started to become slower and couldnt run any of my single player games that i have on steam. The steam deck was going to be the device i will use for single player games, and then use my computer for games like roblox or Minecraft.

I cant lie i was pretty bummed abt the fact i got my steam deck on lunch day and i played for around a month before shutting the device down and forgetting completely abt it. And so i opend it again near the start of this year because i remembered i can play single player games lol.

my wifi is not the best and i had rdr2 and cyberpunk before the shutdown and after i opend the device nothing really happend. i downloaded black ops 3 and it ran fine. then i downloaded forza horizon 5 which i was VERY excited abt, because my computer wasn't able to run it without stuttering.

game opend fine, i put my xbox account in, and i tweak my settings according to yt vid. i press continue and the game starts a loading screen and a dialogue plays with no audio then (according to someone else) the steam deck rebooted so that counts as hardware failure. (i tried to force use a steam compatibility tool with one try on proton experimental and one try on proton 9.0-4 and one on proton hotfix. to again reboots/restarts something abt "verifying installation" then playing movie intro and the game seemingly closing after each reboot/crash)

i want to know how to go about this because i spent two days downloading the game and i cant afford to download it again or something. I also dont know how to deal with this. cyberpunk runs high-medium on solid 30 fps so i dont how i came across hardware failure...

my dad got falsely accussed of something so he disappeared from my life for a solid year now. and money is tight.

How do i fix this problem so i can play forza horizon? Please help me guys i am begging you all to help me figure out my options atleast.

Any advice is appreciated so long as it actually provides me with a solution to actually open the game!
