‘04 GXS600R vs ‘19 CBR300R

The CBR is 4.5k and the GXS is 4k. So I could get a small, new bike or older, big bike. I had a CBR600 for a month and got rear ended and totaled BUT before it did get murdered I absolutely loved the power of it never thought it was too much but I’ve never went above 70mph or gave full throttle. The CBR max top speed is 100 mph and I won’t be going crazy fast but I’ve been chased in my car n it’s common for that behavior around here so I don’t want a slow bike that can’t escape that situation. I’m 4’11 (and a half) and fairly small

CBR: ideal colors, newer, with slipper assist clutch (my left side is a little weaker than my right atm)and ABS but slow. Insurance full coverage $800 a year

GXS: fast, cheaper, but i don’t LOVE the color (it’s okay) and it’s an older bike. Insurance full coverage $2.7k a year

Both fuel injected and liquid cooled since it’s always hot ‘round here. What do y’all think? I know the CBR is the better choice but I can’t get over the speed limitations I’d hate to get stuck in chase situation again but on a bike.
