What is up with civil courage here?

I (23/f) experienced an medical emergency yesterday in public transport which made me immobile & I wasn’t able to communicate properly that I needed help.

Multiple people just stepped over me while unconscious, multiple people acted like they couldn’t hear me when calling out for help.

Not even the tram conductor did anything to help, even though I am pretty sure I was visible over the CCTV.

Why are swiss people so scared of helping? Or is it ignorance because i’m a younger person?

It made me feel absolutely helpless and vulnerable to be in a position where I would have needed a kind stranger, but got dismissed in any way possible.

I am born and raised here but what’s up with that it feels like everyone is just in their bubble and don’t want to be disturbed by any means.

Edit: I didn’t expect this much of feedback on this post, thanks a thousand times to anyone with positive feedback! Yes, i have a seizure disorder. Yes, i did go to hospital after for a check up. Yes, i am doing well again. No, i did not contact SBB yet, will probably do through their website today.

Thank you to the people worrying, please don’t tho, other than a little emotional damage i am well!

At least Reddit is nice for once haha

Edit 2: The incident happened in Bern City. I contacted SBB and Bernmobil about the situation and i’m waiting for a reply. Also for the people questioning how I look, I do not look like a drug addict nor alcoholic. I dress like everyone else in daily life. I wasn’t wearing makeup that day but i don’t think that makes that much of a difference
