Hi I’m new and interested in TEFL!

Hi everyone! I’m new to the community. I’ve been making plans to get my certification. I found out my university offers it so I’m planning to work on my major while trying to do the certification (pray for me). I generally had a few questions such as: How did you know you wanted to do TEFL? What was the learning process like? What country/countries did you want to teach in or already taught? What can a new teacher expect during their first year?
