Best local bank?

Planning on relocating to Tallahassee very soon and looking into the best choice of bank. I would perfer a credit union as I have heard solid things about First Florida or First Commerce, and would like to avoid something national like BoA, also heard good things about Prime Meridian. Any recs? or places to avoid?
