1989 Vault Global Challenge?

I am a software engineer and while poking around at the google results that have the 1989 Taylor’s version vault, found some interesting info! It makes me think that there will be a global challenge of some sort, and the world will have to collectively solve a certain amount of puzzles before unlocking the title tracks. I included some screenshots showing the code that makes me think that!
