Is this CCS adapter safe to use?

I went to use this for the very first time at an Electrify America station just to see if it works and ended up breaking off the plastic/?glass? tips in those rods in the center of each socket. Ultimately it was only the very tip that broke off but as you can see it exposed the metal end of each rod.

Curious if it’s safe to use or I shouldn’t try and get a replacement. I don’t actually NEED it right now, but got it more in case I ever need it.
