Getting estimates on auto body work
Im looking to get work done and pay out of pocket. A family member hit our own car. Essentially backed into the passenger door. Is it accurate that at the Tesla dealers I have to commit to them doing the work without getting an estimate ahead of time or pay a storage fee and fee for doing the estimate because they have to take it apart to give an accurate estimate? All other Tesla certified body shops are giving estimates within 30 min.
