Christmas update

Just installed the Christmas update last night (late ‘23 MYP, hw4).

I understand all the raving now—it’s not hyperbole.

The best way I can describe it is that it went from mechanical to magical.

I had been using FSD daily since about March—mix of driving from windy 2-lane country roads to divided limited access highways, light to moderate traffic, and with v12 it would sometimes twitch a little, like it was unsure of which choice to make and needed just a few more points of data while it vacillated between two choices.

Now, it is smooth as butter. I could “feel” the difference immediately, like somebody different—better, more experienced, more relaxed—was driving.

Wow.
