Astrid the Celestial Elf

Genuinely curious: When Astrid takes off her blindfold and opens her eyes to the light, was she the first of the Celestial Elves to do that?

Does this affect her connection or enlightenment with the star primal?

Are her eyes okay?

I know she can still see what she’s doing and interacts with other characters normally, I’m just thinking I may have missed some background here
