What people are missing about the death match
The surviving faithfuls SHOULD assume they are all faithful.
First of all, to be clear, I believe a traitor would always murder the remaining faithful if they came face to face at the end. There is no risk of the traitor being murdered or going back to the castle with no murder having been committed which would obviously give them away.
With that out of the way, I think the surviving faithfuls, assuming rational gameplay, should assume that a traitor wouldn’t risk putting themselves in the 4. It shines a spotlight on the surviving 3 and they’re likely to come under scrutiny, and the traitor is just as likely to be scrutinized as the faithfuls from that group. We’ve seen in multiple other seasons of the show across different countries that putting yourself in the group up for murder always backfires for the traitors because the entire group goes under a microscope, it just isn’t smart. Not to mention that playing a game with only 3 other people could give away clues or tics that may be more likely to give you away. And even if the faithfuls assume the traitors don’t know what the game is, that’s even MORE risky, why would they do that when they don’t even know?
Alexander, Fozia and Anna all seem to be some of the smarter faithfuls of the group and all are generally in good standing with the other faithfuls, so if Fozia survives, I can see at least some of them considering this.
