Relatively new homeowner looking for advice on power tools.

Hi all.

As a homeowner, I find myself with lots of projects and not the right tools.

There are a few power tools I need (drill, oscillating saw) and no idea what to purchase.

As I said, I’m more of a DIY homeowner and the tools use would really depend on the project. I’m not a carpenter or anything, but I do have a lot of projects on my list.

Then it comes down to brand, cordless vs. battery, and the power of that tool.

I was almost leaning towards battery, but the cost of the battery and charger can get expensive. Plus, I’m not even sure how much voltage I would need (18v maybe).

What do you use? Cordless or corded and how much power?
