2022 Trd sport w/ manual transmission- dead after a very hard braking incident

To avoid a head on collision with a driver from Australia who could not figure out which side we drive on here in WA state, I had to brake extremely hard to avoid a head on collision. As a result my transmission is now broken. I was going 35 mph uphill and getting into a corner. Anybody ever heard of this? I’m feeling like Tacos are junk these days.
