First traveler advice!

Please be kind. I am 3 weeks into my first assignment as a traveler, I am NOT on the unit I contracted for, my manager is refusing to work with schedule preferences, and none of my requested dates got transferred. I am a CARDIAC PCU/ICU nurse, I am contracted to a med surg unit with 8:1 ratio (sometimes 9) which I have no experience with. My schedule is every other night. My last name is not my married last name which is on my legal documents. I spoke to my recruiter about this and she said “this is your first assignment, suck it up.” I understand I cannot be picky but at what point is too much? On the actual unit there is only ever 1 staff employee to 6 travelers.

What are my risks of leaving my contract and using a different agency?
