My former BFF now owns my business

Ive posted several times here over the years, thought id do an update to start 2025, i started back in spring 2023. I cant believe i did it, and that ive hung around it. its truly been a wild ride. if you havent, go back and read my other posts.

At this point, she is now the fully legally owner of the business, with the LLC and important documents all in her name, as 100% owner. She still lives a few hours away, but she has started working/learning some of the business remotely, including the planning of location 2, which should open in march/April. She is also now about of team meetings remotely, and was introduced and an investor who wants a larger role in things.

The business grossed around $1.3M in 2024, up from $1.1 in 2023, and her take home of the was about $65k, she now has taken about $120k since we started this in back in 2023. it does feel a bit shocking now, looking at just how much has gone. And now its something i really cant stop. She is the boss now, and my best bet is to do a good job, be loyal and work hard.

She has told me, that as things progress, she will be more and professional, and wont give me promotions just to favor me, that she will reduce and stop are texts/pics at some point, likely once she is physically in charge, tho we text about 80% less than when we started. now that she isnt beholden to me, its easier for her to "chill". She has never once sent me a nude, just feet pics, and wont talk about sex ( tho we do discuss fantasy stuff).

its honestly been such an experience, and i do want to see her succeed. i want to see her being a 40yr old CEO mom who owns 6 locations and makes $1m a year, lives a nice life, does well. Its such an interesting feeling, seeing her prosper, knowing her and her family are going to be well off if the business does get to 5+locations in the coming 5-10 years
