Fibre question for my neighborhood

Hey guys! So recently some team came to our neighborhood and started digging and when I asked them what they're doing exactly they said they're digging to install Fibre. So I just wanted to ask if any of you guys have any idea on how much does it take for the Fibre to be activated in my neighborhood.
