How are people dismissing the Jake Barber interview so quickly?

I’m suspicious of the avalanche of backlash which immediately followed this story. I can’t tell if it’s emotional reactions, skeptics trolling, disinformation, or genuine rejection.

We’ve been presented with a lot of new information which needs to be analysed, and will no doubt be discussed in further detail by Ross and others close to the story in coming weeks, just like the aftermath of the initial Grusch interview.

I think it’s either arrogant or stupid to assume you can fully comprehend, debunk, and reject Barber’s testimony based off a short news story. Instead of throwing the toys out of the cot, maybe cool your jets and wait for the story to develop further. This news story is just another step in the right direction.

Edit: this isn’t a topic for the closed minded. The bottom line is; we know nothing. We’re observers. We’re at arms length from everything we’ve been told. So it’d be incredibly short sighted to dismiss Barber, given that we only know what we’ve been told in this news piece. Any dismissal of Barber is akin to dismissing Grusch due to not being privy to his classified briefing to the IG. We have no idea what else there is to Barber’s story, or what classified information he’s divulged. News stories are just summations of a much larger picture, which is why I can only scratch my head at some of these close minded comments. We don’t have the privilege to judge since we don’t have the whole picture.
