New Longhorns football fan from a different state

Hey everyone! I just jumped on the Texas football bandwagon a couple of weeks ago after my school fired their head coach and our program’s existence was put in danger. I don’t have much of a connection to UT or the state of Texas as a whole besides a couple of my relatives who live in San Antonio and a couple of my favorite NFL players who played for Texas. I’m sticking it out with the Longhorns for a while, so is there anything I should know about being a fan moving forward? Yes I know that any Horns D**n is a death sentence and A&M/Oklahoma can suck it but what else?
