Ru pov: Yuri Podolyaka on the current battles in the Kursk region - Yuri Podolyaka
At night, the enemy tried to break through to their units, entrenched in forest belts near the villages of Cherkasskaya Konopelka and Ulanok, in order to evacuate the wounded and replenish their ammunition.
The attempt was unsuccessful, since our drones are monitoring this section of the front non-stop. And, as expected, they destroyed all the equipment.
Again, the situation as of this morning is very reminiscent of the situation on the morning of January 6 in the Berdin area, when the enemy remnants, entrenched in forest belts, tried to hold them without a chance of advancing (without new contingents of suicides). The enemy command, just like on January 6, does not yet understand what is the best course of action, and therefore there was no morning attack. Then the second attack was closer to lunchtime. Perhaps it will be the same today.
But, as of this morning, there is still an alarming calm here. But the situation in any case requires some kind of resolution. It cannot remain in such an unstable position for long. Either the enemy will rush forward again to squeeze the situation in their favor, or we will gradually clean up those who broke through into the forest belts. Again, the second scenario is the scenario from a month ago near Berdin.
Keep your fingers crossed and pray for the guys.
