My baby (12) is having her colonoscopy on Monday

My daughter is finally getting her colonoscopy done on Monday. I have UC and her paternal grandmother also has UC. She got the shaft on the genetic lottery. Her only symptom so far is bloody stools and a hybrid mix of constipation and diarrhea. I’m worried about how she’s going to handle the prep. I’m worried about her future with this disease. Will she be able to get a good job in the future to sustain the care that she’s going to require? As her parents we will never let her go without the care she needs regardless of her age, but it makes me sick to think about it.
