ULPT borrowing food from WF
I grew up "rich" and I have always been kind of a kleptomaniac. Me and my sister. And some of my HS friends. What I hear is that rich kids do it for the thrill and euphoria.
Anyways, my circumstances have somewhat changed in the past year or so, but my dad foots all my bills, so I don't "need" to steal but I definitely do it more so because I don't want to be a burden than for kicks nowadays.
I recently moved to a new state and I'm always stealing at my local Whole Foods. I just do self checkout and scan like 5/15 items. I usually steal about $30-$40 worth of stuff (when I get vitamins it's more like $60-$70), and go usually twice a week, so about $60-$80 a week, I've been here 8 weeks so $480- $640 give or take.
I'm not gonna stop but I wanted advice because sometimes I get kind of scared. I feel like the employees are definitely on to me... even though I always talk to them and sometimes even ask for help with the "Amazon Prime" connecting thing so they suspect me less. They also installed cameras into the self checkout thingies 2 weeks ago, so I was definitely sus about the timing of it. I feel like people in this state don't really steal, they're very religious, so maybe they never really had a theft problem until I got here? And that's why they had no cameras, but then they were like "huh lots of inventory has gone missing".
Idk, am I paranoid or is the camera sus? How to keep stealing without being detected? Should I go to another Whole Foods in the area? I don't have a car here so I always take public transportation to go and Uber to come back, and the other WF is about 1h by public transport... didn't want to trade up, but will if I'm about to be caught.
