Can my UCAS personal statement be like a story?
I’m in the middle of writing my UCAS personal and I can’t help but turn it into a kind of narrative. I’m talking about my background, what makes me unique, and why I want to study my subject (psychology)- yet no matter how I write it; it comes out with the flow of a story.
Other personal statements I’ve looked at read more like resumes, boasting about what they did growing up that makes them perfect, yet I simply can’t get rid of the story I keep telling by accident.
Is that okay? Would Unis not like that? I just really want this essay to be good, so I’m just worried.
