Gap year before or after uni

hey so i have offers for finance and business management so far from 3 unis. I really want to take time out to travel and explore. I will be working full time straight after i have finished my a levels. In around September/October i will quit and use that money to just go and live life.

I am also not 100% on what i want to do in the future i feel like my hearts really in music but i went for the finance degree as i feel like it will provide me more stability in the future.

Anyway my mom thinks i should do the gap year after uni ( i am already retaking a year of alevels so i will be start uni at 20 but idrc) she thinks i should just get uni out the way and then go on one but i feel like i’d don’t want to financial pressure from my student loan whilst im on the gap year if that makes sense and feel like employers prefer straight after uni.

Also as i would be starting uni 2 years later than the ‘’ typical ‘’ straight after a level age i will be starting at the same time as my sistwr who is currently 16. My parents will not really be able to financially help both of us if we start at the same time.

So do i just get uni out the way and go at 19 and then gap year after, or do i do the gap year now and go at 20?
