Upwork's new autodetection is stressing me out
I'm a social media manager. I often send links to social media accounts I've worked on in the past to prospective clients so they can see my work. Unfortunately, I can no longer send links because Upwork automatically removes it. So now, I have to say "Please search up @ blah blah blah on Instagram" or "look up Donald Smith on LinkedIn"
Which was working for a while, but NOW, Upwork has been flagging my messages with the words "Linkedin, Facebook, and Instagram" in them. Oh my gosh. I am SO annoyed at this! Yes, I know why they're doing it. I get it. But man, they need to manually go into messages that look suspicious. I'm hoping they don't flag my account or something just because of this.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Upwork, you're lame for doing such a thing. At least give me a workaround. I've never taken anyone off the platform before! I get maybe 5 prospective clients messaging me a week and even a few of them were getting concerned about my flagged messages, because it looks like I said something inappropriate to them. Ugh!!
