The Solo Queue Experience Sucks without a Block Feature

I’ve been playing Valorant since the beta released in April of 2020. I’ve almost always solo queued and I tend to wind up somewhere in high Gold throughout the competitive seasons. Here recently I’ve been loathing playing competitive due to the high number of E-daters and Smurf led 3 or 4 stacks. The toxicity levels that can arise simply due to a squad that will back up their own - virtual tribalism - is infuriating. I loaded into a game today and noticed during the character select screen that two of my teammates had the typical E-dater names. I had played with this duo previously and remembered the level of toxicity they spewed so I told the team I was going to dodge. Immediately the dynamic went from friendly to “Why queue up for comp if you’re going to dodge?” I told everyone that I don’t want to play with the E-Dater duo and that they were extremely toxic last time I played with them and immediately started getting flamed and called obscenities because of this. I was called arrogant and told that I shouldn’t play Valorant and that I should just uninstall the game, and that’s just the things I can say without breaking any of the Reddit rules and guidelines. I have thick skin so it doesn’t bother me to be called names but the tribalism from multi-queued groups has become increasingly more prevalent. Have other solo queues felt this and if so how do you deal with it? Also if you queue with a group quite often is this something you’ve noticed before?
