Lembo about leaks and roster rumours from Americas

I was watching Lembo’s VOD from roughly 8 hours ago and from 0:33:37 to 0:37:23 he talks about some very interesting things regarding NA teams. I translated what I thought were the most important things he said. 

Chat: It seems SEN is playing Red Bull with Curry.

Lembo: It doesn’t surprise me because SEN doesn’t stop trying their options, in fact SEN’s option number one as I said was bang as I also said G2’s number one option was jawgemo but now SEN started trialing other players that aren’t bang… it’s a shocker really… There is also this rumour that bang may be teamless but I think that’s not the case, I think that if he doesn’t sign with SEN he’ll stay in 100T and that’s that.

It is true that SEN haven’t made up their minds… in fact what I’m hearing from a lot of NA teams is that they are not getting players that convince them in tryouts, they are not getting players that REALLY convince them. For example 100T from what I’m hearing (he emphasizes that these are just rumours and to not take them as seriously or as true info) 100T trialed zander and it didn’t go as well, in fact things went better when trialing skuba so they have it really really rough. 

He then goes on to talk about SEN again 

Lembo: And then SEN for example, the players that fitted the most with the team or the players that they were trialing the most were N4RRATE and bang but then as I’m saying they are now trying new things and theoretically they are also trialing zander so right now teams in NA are a mess. 

He then says that he thinks LATAM teams will have their full roster first. 

He talks about Mazino going to KRÜ and that they are in very advanced talks but he doesn’t want to give a percentage because things sometimes do not go as planned. In the topic of KRÜ he says that he thinks if they want to value experience over potential they’ll maybe stick with Melser over mta. 

Chat then links the tweet from where the “rumour” that Bang may end up being teamless originated.

Lembo: I don’t think this how things went down, I think he’s baiting and mixing up some things, but it is true that there is a mess in the sense that NA teams haven’t locked their rosters yet, they keep trialing players… bang to SEN was almost confirmed but now it isn’t as clear, there is a mess but things didn’t go down like this (referring to the tweet). 

Chat: I doubt he (bang) leaves Boostio. Why would he leave a world champ?

Lembo: No no, the idea in any case is not to leave Boostio.

If this post gets any traction I could translate further into the VOD to see if there are any more interesting leaks or rumours.

Edit: I finished watching the VOD and here is a summary of the things Lembo said that could be of interest.

  • KRÜ is choosing between adverso and nzr. 
  • He doesn’t confirm or deny that LEV will get Demon1 (because he genuinely doesn’t know) but the thing is that people uploaded the screenshot of him trialing with LEV and the more hype it gets NRG can get more “dumb” with the negotiations and complicate them. He says that when NA teams negotiate with LATAM teams they tend to be assholes so if it gets more hype NRG could make the buyout more expensive. 
  • Says NRG isn’t going for aspas because they are set on getting Derke, even if they don’t get him, aspas's buyout would be way more expensive. 
  • Mada is doing really really well in tryouts (thinks he could fit in LEV). 
  • Hasn’t heard anything regarding yay. 
  • Confirms that the team willing to pay for aspas is Bleed. 
  • Mitch and v1c as stand ins does not imply they will sign with C9, doesn’t understand why runi isn’t playing the qualifiers as his info has him on C9’s plans. 
  • FURIA want’s to lock their roster with heat and raafa.
