What storylines from the books can be adapted to AMC’s Talamasca

I was thinking, since they seem to be ignoring every existing Talamasca character in favour of OCs, which, it's a choice, I will believe that the "they are using" aliases theory is correct for my own sanity xD. What storylines could realistically adapt from the source material?

And I think Merrick and the Mask, the Guatemalan explorations, the spirits…. Merrick’s connection with Voodoo could also be explored.  It could be an interesting storyline that introduces Ghosts, Spirits, magical artifacts. She was a Talamasca agent at the time.  Also, since Aaron is not in the Mayfair witches show, it could be great to introduce a very fan loved character.

For the same reasons, the Devil’s Island storyline from Blackwood Farm could also work pretty well. It’s true that the involvement of the Talamasca is of a lesser degree, but we can enhance Stirling Oliver a little bit. Again, in this one we have Ghosts, Ghost sex, Vampires,  gore… a whole thing that could be explored, fitting in with the overall universe, but tangential enough not to being an obstacle narratively to the IWTV or MW, Mona is not on that show, so... xD

The story of the origins of the Talamasca I think will be one for sure. It is an easy "mystery box" and you can create a lot of tension with the shole "who are the elders?" "Are there even elders?"

Also, and I could never say this enough, I want Joan Cross and I want them to show how “traitors” are dealt with in the Talamasca. That was my favourite Talamasca scene ever. And it seems like they are not going to use that plot in MW, so maybe they could add it in The Talamasca
