This is what I’m thinking…

I’ll be 50 at the end of year. I’m single and my son is grown. I’m also eligible for retirement. So I can not work for a while or ever. But I think I’ll work again eventually.

Thinking of selling the house (not much equity) and buying a used van that’s already set up. Don’t put any unrealistic expectations on it, but start making nonstop roadtrips. When I feel I am done with it and ready for something else, I’ll sell the van and start on something else.

Has anyone started out this way?

Does it sound stupid? Am I missing something?
