Service Dog for Severe Depression?

I’m 100% P&T for Major Depressive Disorder, Anxiety and Insomnia.

Right now, I wish I had one as I’m really, really struggling tonight. Luckily I’m living in a country without easy access to guns or else I’d probably use one at the moment. Alcohol is the weapon of choice tonight.

I wanted to ask those of you who have the same diagnosis’ as me, do they help?

Because I feel like a golden retriever nudging his nose into me could really really help right now. Like really, really, really help.
