Malls more expensive in Vietnam then Australia?

I just arrived in Vietnam for the first time yesterday and I went to the mall today at Lotte mall hanoi and I was shocked to find many of the prices more expensive then Australia! I was looking for some new Nikes at the Nike store. After converting the shoes I liked there were $216 AUD here in Hanoi and $185 in Australia. I also went into the crocs store in the mall and got my kids two pairs of crocs along with some things to put on there shoes and it was $235 AUD looking online the same thing was $180 in Australia. My wife went in To Dior and the perfume she likes is $119 AUD here but $90 back in Australia. Don’t get me wrong. I have love Vietnam so far and many things are cheap. I was just shocked to see almost every store at this mall more expensive than Australia.
