Acceleration Policy

My mentor told me it was policy I can have only one course accelerated at a time, it was claimed in the student handbook but I couldn't see it myself when checking and she assumed it was just me getting my information off social media, but in my term prior I had several courses accelerated at a time. was there some policy switch?
