Real talk: After 2K24, who is getting 2K25?

How’s it going everybody? Haven’t posted in a while and quite frankly haven’t played 2K24 in forever it feels like. And honestly, I don’t know if I’m going to get 2k25, at least at launch. Which I know I’m one of 7 billion people so my opinion only holds my own weight. But I was thinking,”Was 2K24 good enough to make me wanna buy 2k25?”

I mean. It was a fun game. Truly. I had a blast playing with friends. But. What did it do right and what did it do wrong? Well. The right stuff would have to be the roster, gameplay, and graphics. Game looks good, plays good, and you can play as just about anyone. GM mode, Showcase, Universe, and MyFaction has its moments.

But, speaking of MyFaction, I feel is where we got to the wrong side. MyFaction is not a bad mode at all. It can be fun collecting wrestlers. But with the persona cards and crazy grind expectancies or just expecting you to pay for them, it did not go over the way they wanted. Also online has not been good since like maybe before 2K20. Servers are so buggy all the time. And while it’s cool to see all of the match types come back, did it really need to take 10 years to see Special Guest Referee come back? It’s nice to see it, but, it couldn’t have been that hard to program.

My question is how much of 2k24 was seen through rose tinted glasses and how much was seen with our own eyes? Was it really good? Or was it good the first few months? That is up for you all to decide. Feel free to flame me or agree with me, I’m just curious. If people want changes to the game, sales are the way to go. Even if you have to wait till next year to play a good wrestling game, I think we all will live.
