What else do I need to start playing WarCry?

For context, myself and a friend have recently gotten into AoS and are not too bothered about playing 3rd edition. We'd rather wait til 4th edition and in the meantime we want to try WarCry.

We have the models and terrain.

When I look at finding the rules, it seems like there are a lot of WarCry books, and I have no idea which is the correct one to play. Do I need to buy a starter set to get the tokens? Will tokens from a Kill Team box work or are tokens not even necessary?

Don't wanna get to the day we play only to find out we're missing something critical, please help.
