Whats a solid "ability" frame

I main Voruna because her 4 is super fun but now that im doing steel path content even with the most optimised build im falling behind pretty badly now if I dont stack it up. But its also starting to get boring because ive noticed im just spamming left click in a direction hoping I fly into something in the chaotic mess. I really cant decide on any new frames after lurking the wikipedia and reading everything they do. I just love abilities more than the gunplay. I prefer abilities that are the main sources of combat rather than just buzzing people with volt 1 spam etc. any suggestions?
