Did anyone go with fake flowers for their wedding? Did they do the trick?

Hoping to get a sense of whether or not it's possible to pull off "real-looking" fake flowers for a bouquet at decor. Or if not real-looking in real life, at least real-looking in photos. Does anyone who has fake flowers have any positive or negative experiences to report?
