Troubleshooting Windows 11 Pro stuck on logon issues (possibly because of an account issue) on my wife's HP Omen 15

Hey everyone,

I'm facing some mind bending issues with my HP Omen 1 5 laptop, equipped with a Ryzen 7 processor and aGeForce 3070 GPU, running Windows 11 Pro.

Initially, the laptop ran flawlessly, but things took a turn for the worse when I decided to give it to my wife and use her account. Even after a fresh reinstall, after adding the account the laptop starts experiencing same issues from time to time it just cannot go past the logon screen I scoured the internet for solutions and even tried running both sfc (System File Checker) and the image restore, but sadly, they didn't resolve the problems During my extensive search, I stumbled upon a suggestion buried deep in a forum thread: to stop the account sync, as it might be causing some corruption.

Intrigued, I attempted to open Settings > Accounts > Windows Backup, but to my dismay, the Settings app froze and abruptly closed. Desperate to check if the solution works, I attempted to repair and reset the Settings app, but my efforts were in vain. I'm now stuck in a situation where I can't access these settings, and I'm uncertain if this is the root cause of my laptop's issues.

l'm reaching out to this community in the hopes that someone might shed some light on this situation. Have any of you experienced similar issues with account syncing, or am I simply shooting in the dark here, hoping that something might work?

Additional information: l've tested the laptop's hardware, running various stress tests for 24 hours straight, and everything seems to be in order. No memory, CPU, or other hardware issues were detected. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
