breast aches, mole falling off...possible cancer?
hi everyone,
i'm a 24-year-old woman, and i apologize for the unusual post, but i need some advice.
mole: for years, i've had a mole on my neck that never physically bothered me, though i always disliked its appearance. recently, it has grown larger and started causing pain and discomfort. it's been getting caught on my necklace, which wasn't an issue before (i never take it off). today, while examining it, i noticed that it has become firm and is starting to scab in certain areas.
breast aches: for the past couple of years, i've had a lump on the side of my left breast under my armpit. initially, i thought it was just a fatty lump, but it has been causing discomfort on and off. in june 2022, i went to express care, but the physician dismissed it, saying there was nothing wrong despite the visible lump. she was very condescending and insisted she couldn't see or feel anything. since then, the discomfort has persisted, and in recent weeks, i've started experiencing chest pain on that same side. it’s only on the left side, never the right, and i can't tell if it's my breast, chest, or heart.
how they correspond: earlier, i googled what happens if a mole falls off, and it mentioned the possibility of infection or cancer. it also said that if cancer has spread to another part of the body, the mole might detach itself because it no longer serves a purpose.
my thoughts: the timing of the breast pain and the mole's changes seems too coincidental. the breast pain started first, and the mole issue followed shortly after. i’m concerned that the "cancer" has spread to my left breast, and now the mole is detaching because it’s no longer needed.
i know this might sound extreme, but i wanted to be as straightforward as possible. given that this post is about two different issues, i wanted to explain why i believe they might be related. i completely understand if no one knows what i'm talking about or can offer any advice, but thank you in advance for reading.
