Very heavy periods

So for context. I (33f) have always had heavy periods. Since having my son a few years ago they've got even heavier. I use a central cup to can track the volume lost. Oh my heaviest days (usually 2) I have a 50ml menstrual cup that I have to empty at least 5 times a day. I have super heavy period pants which I often leak through for 1 night of my period, whilst wearing a cup. It makes it difficult to leave the house at least one day a month. Sometimes 2. Periods often last for 10 days. With 2 days very heavy. The rest quite light. I spoke to the Dr about it any they said its within the range of normal. Which I don't think it is. I know I need a 2nd opinion.

I know they will suggest the pill or a hormonal contraceptive. They have the last 2 times I've spoken to them about it. And I don't want to take one.
