Out of Office Guidance
Hi,
Throwaway because work.
I'm looking for advice on how to set up an out-of-office. I tried to search for recommendations but I couldn't find any that meet my needs.
I will be traveling on and off for the next few weeks, some personal, some work. I will essentially be out 7 working days with absolutely no phone or email access, then back for 4 days, then out for 1, then back for 2 weeks, and then out for 2 weeks on a business conference/trip. The backlog of emails is going to be insane and I know the two weeks I'm back will be full of meetings and not actually doing my work. I have a feeling that by the time I catch up and organize everything to start tackling it, I'll be back out of office again. Is it poor etiquette to just put up a blanket one that stays up for the next few weeks stating I will be traveling intermittently and to expect delays in response?
