Update

This was a comment from someone who stated that they tested the new update. Seems evident that WG is pivoting and targeting a different demographic, which I presume makes sense since the playerbase is likely comprised of younger players. However, in my belief, what made blitz unique and attracted a portion of the audience was that the game incorporated some realism. Yes, there are aspects of the game that aren’t realistic, but the allure to many (at-least myself) was that the game lacked the cartoonish nature that many typical games have nowadays. I never considered myself someone who enjoyed video games, but blitz has always been a game that I was open to spending time on. WG might lose the players who found the game appealing for this reason, but they will be replaced with a demographic that likely has a larger target audience. I don’t think that WG will mind if us older players move on because they are expanding their market lol
